Essential Alston, Workshop Leader

In my role as an Essential Alston workshop leader I work in schools around the country facilitating sessions for young people based on Richard Alston Dance Company’s current repertoire.

 

Iceandfire Theatre, Movement Practitioner 

I facilitate family movement sessions for Children Together for Asylum seekers & their children.

 

Evening Classes, LabanAt Laban I have taught level 1 & 2 adult contemporary technique classes as well as ‘Introduction to contemporary dance’ technique classes to young people aged between 11 and 15. I have also led technique and creative workshops for teenagers visiting Laban as part of an open day.

 

Laban’s Centre for Advanced Training 

I am a technique teacher for Laban’s CAT, an intensive dance training scheme for exceptionally talented young people aged 13-18. I began my role as a student, assisting classes and teaching creative classes.

 

The Big World Dance

 

I was part of a small team of 6 dance artists who taught The Big World Dance to people all over London in the lead up to The Big Dance’s finale performance. It was choreographed by Luca Silvestrini and was performed by hundreds in Trafalgar Square on July 10^th 2010.
